The Hunter Mysteries
Welcome to The Hunter Mysteries, a series of short-story mysteries! This marks my first attempt at short stories, in which I hope to combine aspects of my favorite murder-mystery-drama type shows (or the personalities of specific characters). I will try to keep each story singular in itself. In other words, there won't be a particular issue or story-line being weaved through all the stories of the first series. This way, if readers don't read them in order, they won't be missing anything vital (although that's not to say that previous cases won't be referenced). This is just something fun to do... especially when I'm procrastinating on other larger manuscripts. I rather enjoyed the first case and really worked on my character/personality descriptions. I hope that you find them entertaining.
Story 1: A Case of Simple Murder
Murder or suicide? Which is worse: no suspect or too many? Did the most likely suspect really commit the murder - if it really was murder? Meet the team of Roswell police department's Major Case squad on their first case of the series. They take on a case that begins as routine and then turns into something unexpected. The trail takes them along some of the more dangerous, lower avenues of society: gangs and the Mob. Will Hunter and the team catch the one responsible or will the perpetrator remain free?
