Parallel, Book One, Part III: Transform
Summary
Genre: action/adventure/fantasy
All things will unravel quickly now, for the dark king of war rides again beyond his boundaries. In the wake of his arrival to the South, he uses his two pawns, Halden and Ambrose, to strike and weaken the Southern Forces.
But the South is not as weak as the enemy supposes, nor has fear overcome them or even gained much hold.
As the looming battle approaches, both sides will strike against one another, the South to delay the dark king’s main forces, and the dark sister cities to remove as many enemy warriors as possible.
In all of this, an exhiled line of kings will be restored to their homelands, and the true king will again sit on his throne. In his heart and mind, Michael had known he would once again return to his home and take up his place as ruler. But at last the hour desperately hoped for by a young, true, and upright king will come to him. The commander of men will become a ruler, and be a just example of what one ought to be—and all in the shadow of the nearing dark king.
In the time of great evil, great feats will take place, and many forgotten things will be remembered in the hearts and minds of the free people. Chosen nations long lost in ancient history will be called upon by their very Maker to rise again.
And woven through all of these things is the continued journey of Jada, the lone wanderer. The questions she’d repeatedly wondered in her mind will be answered swiftly, and the changes she’d noticed in herself will be explained. Quickly now she will be brought out of her role as a warrior and lifted into a new position.
Truly in a time of war, steadfast and skilled warriors are needed. But so are those who can travel quickly to fulfill secret, vital tasks that shape the outcome of that very war. And in the throes of darkness and despair, symbols of light and hope are needed for those facing the ranks of potent evil.
As Jada’s transformation into these things is completed, she’ll meet new faces and old friends. Great and mysterious secrets of the realm will be revealed to her, and she will cross paths with timeless creatures and those who were there at the very beginning of Aurora’s creation.
Dragon fire, shining white riders, chariots wreathed in flame, angels, demons, and the dark king of war, all these things will clash as the battle for the mastery of the South begins.

Author Notes
This is the shortest of the three parts of Book One. It's essentially one big climax that hits the ground running and steadily builds tension until the awaited battle begins. The style in Part III is the same as the first two in some ways but different in others. The type of language and how it's written has changed slightly (perhaps some influence by Lord of the Rings audiobooks) --at least when we see scenes in Aurora. It has more of an "antiquey" feel, which is fitting when considering the change of our main character and certain situations that involve the other characters. "Transform" is very near and dear to my heart, and as always, I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

"White fire and fierce light that can cut through the blackest veil and that evil cannot bear to be near. Alone turning back an army of darkness with but a word. Putting the most fell enemies to flight and silencing the most persistent mocking voice. Healing the most fatal wounds and illness. Performing that which is truly impossible for the common man. All these things and so much more, things that people read in fiction stories and wish they could do themselves. It is indeed possible, if only more of man would believe in the One who offers this truly lasting transformation, the transformation that matters the most. If only one would submit and commit their lives to the One who purchased their very souls at the ultimate price, in the ultimate and greatest battle – then they would experience such a deep and miraculous transformation. In being in the middle of His will and being so near to Him, it is as if you catch a glimpse of yourself as you truly are – the spiritual, eternal part of you. And often that white fire burns hot in the shiest, most timid and humble of believers. It is a miraculous thing, that the one who barely speaks five words to others is often the fiercest spiritual warrior and the one whom demon generals fear the most among men." -Confidential
